Summer was in full swing at the MetroPark southwest of Columbus, including muggy temperatures, pop-up thunderstorms, and plenty of mosquitos.  The normal Summer specialties here were also on display, including

8 warblers - Yellow, Parula, Yellow-throated, LouisianaWaterthrush, Ovenbird, Kentucky, Hooded, CommonYellowthroat.  The Kentuckies were singing along the Terrace Trail and at the entrance to Cedar Ridge picnic area

2 Tanagers - with Scarlets along the Terrace Trail and a Summer at Cedar Ridge

5 flycatchers - WoodPewee, Acadian, Willow, GreatCrested, Phoebe, E.Kingbird

3 Vireos - Yellow-throated, Warbling, and LOTS of Red-eyed

Rose-br.Grosbeak pair along the northwest section of the Terrace Trail, acting like nesters
