At a county where dickcissels are not that easy to find, I had 10+
dickcissels along county roads just northwest of the village of Amity.
There were three at a nice sized clover field along Daniels Road just west
of Fredericktown-Amity Road, and singles at Earnest Road 0.1 mile west of
Carson Road, Earnest Road 0.5 miles east of Keck Road, Yarman Road just
south of Frederickstown-Amity Road, at Nunda and Earnest Roads and at a few
other nearby amish or mennonite farms.
Enjoy the great weather.
John Herman
