Got out early this morn to beat the heat & look for the previously reported Dickcissels at Margaret Peak Nature Preserve in Lorain County. I was treated to two singing males near the northeast pond. It's fun to hear them singing - they seem to throw their voices, especially on the last note. Peak has enlarged a grassy area which hopefully will bode well for birds. Best of birding, wherever that may be!

Oh, that I had the wings of a dove! I would fly away and be at rest.
