Just as a point of clarification -- the actual 58th supplement to the
check-list hasn't been published yet; it's supposed to go online on
Thursday, July 6. The link helpfully provided by Bill Whan goes to a blog
post by Rick Wright, about some (but not all) of the changes to be included
in the supplement. Rick's article is interesting and well-written, as
usual, but it doesn't quite cover all the new information, even in regard
to bird species found in Ohio. The supplement itself, and some summaries of
it written for general audiences, should be available in a couple of days.
In the meantime, Rick's blog post hits most of the highlights.
