Although some species were represented by only one or two individuals, I
was able to find reasonable shorebird variety on the Edwin C. Moses
Boulevard side of the Great Miami River near the University of Dayton Arena
the past two mornings.
Least Sandpiper
Semipalmated Sandpiper
Spotted Sandpiper
Stilt Sandpiper
Pectoral Sandpiper (Saturday, not Sunday)
Solitary Sandpiper
Lesser Yellowlegs
Semipalmated Plover
Black-Bellied Plover (Saturday, not Sunday)
Killdeer
