The new River Bluff area of Highbanks Metropark was a nice vantage point from which to view several large flocks of nighthawks tonight. I estimated 175, but there could have been many more in the distance. 

I also found a Merlin eating a Cedar Waxwing, and heard a Great Horned Owl; a nice first visit to a new location!
