Just left the Sooty Tern near Dover. We watched it for 45 min, it spent
most of the time roosting on the pipe. Flew around for a few minutes. Was
present when we left.

At 7:10AM, thru the fog, the celebrity visitor could be seen sitting on the
horizontal pipe directly in front of the now famous tire. My wife Denise
saw it on Sunday. We now both have the bird! Presently I am here alone!

American Golden Plover is on a small sandbar north of the island near the
boathouse. The sandbar is visible from Valley Road.

Found by another birder this morning at LaDue Reservoir. On gravel bars
just north of the big island. If coming from the boathouse on Valley Road,
use first pull-off. Scope needed. In with Pectoral Sandpipers and
Semi-palmated SP.

Hi all,
Ron Pittaway just released his Winter Finch Forecast for 2017-2018. In
summary, food crops are great in Ontario so don't expect many of these
species in Ohio this year... :(
