I stopped by this MetroPark southeast of Columbus late this morning, and
found water levels high, but falling.  A rim of mud was at Ellis Pond, Teal
Pond, and Mallard Marsh, but shorebirds were not much in evidence.  Still
there were many other kinds of birds to keep one entertained, including:

Sandhill Cranes - 4 were at Mallard marsh, while another 2 flew over Ellis
Pond calling

waterfowl - aside from the handful of geese,woodies, and mallards, there
were also a few Blue-winged Teal, and small flocks of 6-7 Green-winged Teal
at both Mallard Marsh and Ellis Pond

Other waterbirds - Teal Pond had 4 Pied-billed Grebes and a Coot, while
Ellis had 5 cormorants

Egrets - Great Egrets were noticeable, with 2 at Teal Pond, 7 at Mallard
Marsh, and 2 at Ellis Pond

Raptors - Red-tails were at several places, and Coopers were at nearby
Portman Park (2) and Teal Pond (1).

Flycatchers - little other than a few E.Phoebes
Vireos - only had 1 White-eyed, along the Meadowlark Trail
Thrushes - Robins were common, but others were not, with only 1 Swainson's
at Portman Park
Warblers - scarce, but Portman had Black-thr.Green, Magnolia, Nashville,
and Redstart, while Ellis Pond had Yellow-rumps, Palm, and ComYellowthroat
Bunting,Grosbeak - 1 molting Indigo Bunting along the Meadowlark Trail; no
grosbeaks
Sparrows - no White-throats, but a Swamp Sparrow was at Ellis Pond
