Monday (Sept. 11), a Stilt Sandpiper juvenile was found in the pond
adjacent to the Killdeer Plains Head Quarters (Killdeer Plains Wildlife
Area, Wyandot County).

The pond is on the south side of the Head Quarters on route CH-115, and the
bird was easily seen from the road for several minutes between 9 and 10 am
Monday morning. Other birds in the pond included 8 Killdeers.
