Hello -
Where should I go to purchase a good set of binoculars in Northeast Ohio? (I am in Akron, but am willing to go to Cleveland, Canton, etc.). And what do you recommend? I have been birding for 15+ years.
I think my Equinox pair were about $600 when I bought them 12-13 years ago (they are 800x600?). Pardon my ignorance, I don't have them in front of me.
While I would prefer them to be light, I think I would like them as water/sand proof as possible since they go to the beach, whale watching, etc.
Thank you so much for any recommendations you may have, and my apologies if this is not the appropriate place to ask.
Lisa Lazar
