We relocated the Common Raven in Guernsey Co. today about 1:00. We were
parked at the top of the driveway going down to the Senecaville Fish
Hatchery. The raven was seen on the ground on both sides of the road
crossing the dam. On the spillway side it sat up in a tree. When it croaked
we could see the protruding neck feathers. The wedge-shaped tail was also
obvious. Three (smaller) crows sat above the raven and at times dive-bombed
it. After about ten minutes we observed it fly high and to the north.
This is the best raven sighting we have ever had in Ohio.
