2 Trumpeter Swans have been traveling through Darke Co. On Tues., March 5,
Steve Miller sighted them at the wetarea near Elroy.
Yesterday, they were at a peat bog pond at the intersection of Wildcat Rd.
and Fisher-Dangler Rd. west of Greenville.
Today, they were hanging out at Stump's Pond on Palestine-Union City Rd.
also west of Greenville.
These are the first recorded Trumpeters in Darke County since the Darke
County Birders have been keeping records in 1997.
