I went up to Conneaut harbor today, hoping for late migrating shorebirds.  I completely struck out on those, the only shorebird was a single killdeer.  There were some other birds of interest: a hen red-breasted merganser, 12 bald eagles, belted kingfisher, willow flycatcher, warbling vireo, 2 purple martins, and plenty of bank swallows.  Craig Holt, Lowellville
