Ivan Barkman reports the White-winged Dove has not been seen today yet as of 12:45. It was still present last evening including seen flying onto its roost but apparently has moved on unless it is hanging around somewhere else in the area like it did for a little bit yesterday.

Leroy Yoder reported the White-winged Dove was heard at the original location around 9:30 but then after an hour of waiting with no more sign they went searching for Dickcissels in the area and ended up relocating the dove ½ mile north at the intersection of T.R. 151 & T.R. 153 in some pine trees, so apparently it is moving around some. The suggestion would be to start looking at the original location at 2055 Township Road 151 Baltic then go from there. Leroy did report a Dickcissel was singing at the above intersection.

Good luck,
Eli

The White-winged Dove continues this morning, it was at the feeder already and cooing a lot.

Good luck,
Eli

A White-winged Dove was seen all day yesterday at the Ivan Barkman residence at 2055 TR 151 Baltic, approx. 4 miles south of Charm. It visited a feeder several times and seemed to hang around in some trees in the valley along the driveway as well as some pine trees behind the home. Because of the history of White-winged Doves not staying around long it was suggested by the homeowners not to post it unless it shows up again today which it did after lunch so hopefully it will stay long enough for people to get to see it. Birders are welcome.

Bird on!
