Hi,

I found a just fledged young Dark-eyed Junco in my yard on Gildersleeve
Mountain this evening. Very thrilling for someone actively studying
breeding Dark-eyed Juncos. A few minutes later, in another section had an
unbanded male land on a rock not 3 feet away. I suspect I was getting too
close to his nest.

I have 2 perhaps 3 active nests in my yard or close by, based upon the
activity of the males
