*HIKE*: Tree Farm Trail & the Coliseum Grasslands.  *DRIVE*: the length of
Major Rd.
*TIME*: 7:15am - 1:00pm  *TEMP.*: 63 ~ 79  *COND.*: Overcast early with
light sprinkles, giving way to clouds/sun mix and breezy south winds.
*VEH.MI.*: 9.0  *FT.MI.*: 3.75  *OBS.*: Douglas W. & Michelle Vogus.

*I. MAMMALS*: 4 SPECIES.

   1. Eastern Chipmunk - 8
   2. Eastern Gray Squirrel - 3 (1 black morph)
   3. Eastern Fox Squirrel - 1
   4. Red Squirrel - 2


*II. BIRDS*: 71 SPECIES.
(NOTE: m = male; f = female; ? = bird was seen but not sexed; * = bird was
heard calling but not sexed)

   1. Canada Goose - 15 (4 goslings)

   4. Common Merganser - 1 (f)  (seen from hill west of Heritage Farms -
   flew south above Peninsula, then turned around and headed north)
