All other media I listen to and/or watch are international --- The Guardian, Al Jazeera, France 24, the BBC, Euronews .. 'Third World news I get from IPS

Conflict is a window, John Paul Lederach notes- this conflict opens up a hole in a wall of injustice and creates an opportunity to address the deep flaw in the American experiment with democracy. It may well be a helpful tool for mobilization.
This story is all over my Facebook page- it has really struck a nerve (or has what Dave Snow & Rob Benford call “frame resonance”), at least in our circles. I’m wondering how it is playing with the larger public? I’ve not done well lately at following US mainstream media - just don’t have the stomach for it.
