The juvenile red-shouldered hawk was back in my yard perched on a post just before dark. It’s left now so I’m hoping it’s all right but just in case I see it again in the morning and/or it looks weak, does anyone know of a rehabber who handles hawks near Granville, like in the Columbus area?
I’m hoping it’s fine. I heard from a couple people off list that this is very typical young buteo behavior but I wanted to be prepared if it seemed like it wasn’t doing well tomorrow.
Pls reply off list—thx!
