Even more sand - mud exposed! I hope this is good! And I am seeing
dead clams? Big. I presume this spot is flooded when the Great Miami
River floods? Anyway, 17 Killdeer, 36 Least Sandpiper, 1 Spotted, 1 lesser
Yellowlegs. And 8 peep sp.
Hit Shaker Trace - Miami Whitewater. Lots of activity with some species!
2 Orchard Orioles
Goldfinches - I watched one building a nest! Catbirds were visible and vocal,
Etc. The water was covered with water lillies.
I didn't walk past the blind area here. Would have been nice to see the Cliff
Swallow concentration if still occurring. But way to hot and sunny.
Good birding all.
