We are planning a homecoming event for College of Business alumni in
October. The general idea is a big name speaker for a luncheon on
Friday, followed by seminars on hot business topics in the afternoon.
The intention is development not fund raising, but it will be friend
raising. This institution does not have a strong alumni development
effort, and there is no alumni continuing education program in place.

Does anyone have a model that they use that works? Suggestions for a
speaker who doesn't cost an arm and a leg? The name of someone in
you organization who might be able to be a resource?

Any and all ideas welcome!
