I received about 35 responses from various members of the two list
servers I contacted regarding the cost of credits at public
institutions. Because so many of the respondents wanted the
information, I am broadcasting it to all. My last message got so
much activity, it seems to have caused some members to "unsubscribe",
sorry about that, but I got what I wanted and I appreciate your
taking the time to respond.

If anyone wants the detail (schools, prices, etc.) send me your fax
number and I will send it out. Here's the aggregate data:

I heard from states in every region of the country, both 4 year and
community colleges. Average cost per credit is $107 for instate
undergraduate, $162 instate graduate, $242 non-resident
undergraduate, $297 graduate non-resident. Hope this is useful.
Thanks for your assistance in gathering this information.
