I've talked to Mike and Peele about that song, and they said it was a tough
track to record.  Basically, they kept changing around all the parts, and
finally settled on that arangement.  If you told them that was your
favorite, I bet they'd be suprised!  I agree with you though, it is a great
song.  F&G was the first Connells album I got into way back in 1989, and I
can't even begin to think how many times I've listened to it.  Boylan
Heights would be a very strong contender for the best in my book.
 
Here's a Connells trivia item:  The first time Mike Connell played in public
was when he was 27 (don't hold me to 27, but it was his late twenties).
