I like the list, but for my own personal neophyte conversion tape, I
would have to nix Saturday Nite (USA), Something To Say, and Inside My
Head in favor of Waiting My Turn, Doin` You, and Running Mary. No
particular reason, except that those were the songs that hit me like a
ton a bricks the first time I listened to those albums.
Just as a comment, the Techno version of '74-'75 isn't exactly a big
hit here in Germany, just part of a TV ad for a Techno sampler. I
haven't heard it get any radio play on the big stations here, but then
again, I avoid the ones that play too much techno. Besides, you don't
want to hear it, it is HORRENDOUS! That's my two cents. Bye.
