I called Black Park management and spoke to Ed Morgan, the C's manager
who cleared up a few things. He said the Connells were up for just one
"Golden Europe" award; song of year, which they WON!!! He was very happy
with the European success. I didn't even open the lack of radio play
around here subject. That's a Pandora's you-know-what.
   Also, the C's next release is in "the spring". A friend of mine who
knows Peele heard the prelim mix and said it's very strong (I trust her).
No Connells sightings for me, although  my friend did run into Peele and
his wife in Kerr Drugs. I showed her Art's treed tape, and we were
rolling in laughter at Doug's sarcasm (the David Lee Roth analogy and the
Molly Hatchet comment with that dipshit Dave Kendall).
   Black Park is also managing George Huntley. The release date is
January 30.
   The last issue is that David's wife is responding well to treatment,
and David is in good spirits. Great!
 
I don't know if any of this is an interation of previously written stuff
here, but I just thought I'd let everyone know and clear the cobwebs from
this board!
