I saw ho-hum last weekend at the SXSW in Austin. They were pretty good.
But, I found it almost more entertaining to watch and laugh at the lead
guitarist. He's short, but when he stands next to the mammoth lead singer,
he looks like a midget. He bounces around, plays behind his head, and at
the end of the show, he broke all the stings on his guitar - very funny.
Anyway, they look like those guy in high school that had their own table in
the corner away from everybody else, but they sound good.
Oh, yeah, I also caught the George Huntly show. He played an all acoustic
set for about a half hour. It was very laid back - but, then, so is
Brain Junk.
