I don't know what the problem might be, but I can try to help the Modem
Miracle Workers who might be able to figure it out.  It might be a good
idea to refer back to Boyd Wilson's earlier post in this group, with the
subject "bug report form.....":

to really use the info you give us.  Here is a template you can use, to
help
us better track down the problems.....
 
MU-Modems Bug report form (please post to mu.comp.modems)
 
1. Date and Time of problem:
2. if connection is made, ip address of your machine when connected:
3. Description of problem:
4. How many times the problem was repeated:
6. Description of environment (modem, os, ppp softwar used)
5. Did the problem exist on different platforms (can you try win 3.1,
mac, win95, nt os2)

Hopefully this will provide enough information for the Modem Miracle
Workers to diagnose the problem you're experiencing.
