I checked with the technical support folks and yes, there was a
problem last night (Wed. 9/25).  From about 7pm to 10pm, the second
half of the modems were out of service.  That problem has been
corrected.
 
On a related note, we thought some modems had bad cables, but we've
since determined that is not true.  There is a problem either with the
T1 line or with the terminal access server.  We are investigating.
