Our last real meeting is coming up! It will be held on Tuesday April 15
(TAX DAY!!!) at 5:30 in room 120 Kreger. We are going to have elections
followed by a speaker from the Women's Center. For elections, you have to
be a member of SWE to vote so make sure you tell all your friends that are
members to come! The four positions available are: President,
Vice-President, Treasurer, and Secretary. The president is in charge of
running all the meetings, communicating with National SWE and publicity.
The vice-president takes over any of the positions in case the designated
person can't perform her duties and also makes sure all meetings have an
activity. The VP helps out the other officers in making the meeting
plans, basically. The treasurer has the normal duties of controlling the
inflow and outflow of money. The secretary does the minutes, thank you
notes, etc as necessary for each meeting. These positions are a great way
to get some leadership experience! Companies ALWAYS want you to have
leadership experience.
Our speaker will be speaking on what the Women's Center offers to
students and also how to recognize and deal with sexual harassment in the
workplace.
We will have subs at the meeting so bring your appetite! Hope to see
everyone there! Tell all your SWE friends.

                              Rebecca Ralph
                              SWE President

PS: This meeting is not exclusively for members. Any interested
non-members are more than welcome. They just can't vote in the elections.
