Dear Friends,
IBM has sent out warnings about a Trojan horse virus and asks evryone
with access to internet and e-mail NOT To read or open messages that are
titled: "JOIN THE CREW" (it will erase everything on your hard drive),
If you recieve a mail entitled "PENPAL GREETINGS!" delate it without
reading it. Do NOT download any massage entitled "PENPAL GREETINGS",
by the time you have read it it will already have inffected the boot
sector of your hard drive, destroying all the data present.
It is a self-replicating virus, and once the message is read, it will
automatically forward itself to anyone who's e-mail address is present
in your mailbox.
PASS THIS ON TO EVERYONE WHO HAS OR WORKS WITH COMPUTERS!!!!
There is yet another virus going around: DO NOT open or even look at any
mail that you get that says "RETURNED OR UNABLE TO DELIVER".
This virus will attach itself to your computer components and render
them useless. Immedaeately delete any mail items that says this.
AOL has said this is a very dangerous virus, and there is NO remedy for
it at this time. FORWARD THIS TO ALL ON-LINE FRIENDS.
