Hey all--
 
In light of the holiday quickly approaching, I thought I would post the
Senate report in case Hall Council does not become a reality.
 
1- Applications are still available for University Senate: deadline 6:00 pm
Wednesday the 8th
        Applications are still available for Student Advisory Council-
deadline 6:00 pm Wed. 8th
        *I have applications in my room*
 
2- We officially approved Brian Compton for Committee Coordination and Dave
Shardell for Treasurer and
        Jon McKnight for Communications of ASG
 
3- Make A Difference Day is now acknowledged as a student organization
 
4- Student Senate voted to support Issue 2- 20 in favor, 7 against, and 9
abstained
 
5- Teacher of the Year Banquet Thursday, April 16th, 7:15pm to 9:00pm @
Marcum Conference Center
        RSVP Nathan Estep 9-3988 or Julie Brown 9-1036
 
6- Lecture Series presents:
        Wednesday April 8-113 Laws @ 7:30pm Dr. Flint speaks to What Higher

8- A bill was passed, authored by Jimmy Conroy, to create off-campus
districts for senators to be
        responsible for and maintain communication to . . . 'Creating
Accountability Off Campus'

9- A funding proposal is currently being debated as to how Senate will
handle the funding of student
