Here's a 'MAKE ROOM FOR MOMMY" episode:

Picture George's mother and mother-in-law in traffic outside the Art Museum.  A
cop is waving everybody off because the show and parking lots are full.

Mrs.Gutkin, in her native Russian accent, says to Mrs. Huntley, "Oh no, we are
too late to enter the concert!"

Mrs. Huntley rolls down her window and tells the cop that her son is playing in
The Connells concert tonight and that she is a special guest.  The cop waves
them in.  Mrs. Gutkin is very impressed!  They continue to another roadblock.
 Mrs. Gutkin shouts out of her window, (accent on)"We're the Mommy...we're the
mommy!!!"  Cop waves them through.  One more roadblock, same accent,same phrase
shouted.  They end up in front row parking beside the handicapped spaces.

Now what is the morale of this story?

Also, now everybody knows how to get VIP parking at concerts ("Excuse me, I'm
Mick Jagger's bloody cousin!")

I'm real sorry that I couldn't hang around after the concert. I really wanted
to see some of the list members' faces.  I was there with my wife, two teen-age
sons and their friend.  This concert sounded great to me.  Over the years, the
noise level has been too high for my ears.  I guess being outdoors softened it.
George was delighted with the crowd.  It was a real mix of people there. I
think that they will try to play there again.

Did anyone see the article in Sunday's News & Observer about the Art Museum's
ampitheatre?  Last year, it ran a deficit.  The Connells show sold out.  That
could help get The Connells back out there.

That used up my coffee break!
