ok, i saw them open up for the replacements , osw era, and i was
floored...doug announced they'd be playing down the jersey shore, and i
went...saw them 2 more times before i met them at a small show at
cbgb's, had drinks with doug (surprise.), was guestlisted for their next
show in delaware, ended up driving george back to the hotel after the
show, and was invited to stay the night (no, nothing happened---they
were just being nice) since i drove so far, and have been friends with
them ever since...besides being the most underrated band on the planet,
they're the nicest and most fun to hang out with bunch of guys i've ever
met, and i'm proud to call them my friends....so, is anyone (hi
kimberly) from up north up for a road trip to one of the shows coming
up???---sandi
