The Cincinnati Enquirer, Friday, April 2
Feature on William McGrew (zoology and anthropology) says he received the
Prix Delwart, a $10,000 prize awarded every three years by the Jean-Marie
Delwart Foundation for human ethology and cultural anthropology.  Working
with his wife, Miami anthropologist Linda Marchant, McGrew has tracked
chimpanzees through Tanzania's Gombe National Park.  Quotes Miami student

And:
While some fraternities struggle with stereotypical drinking and hazing
reputations, Pi Kappa Phi at Miami University debunks that image with its
service to people with disabilities.  Tells of their volunteer work at the
Fairfield Center and numerous other projects coming up.  Quotes fraternity

The Cincinnati Post, Thursday, April 1
Several new books from major Christian publishers feature Greater
Cincinnati authors.  The book "Professors Who Believe: The Spiritual
Journeys of Christian Faculty" is a collection of essays by 22 university
professors on why they converted to Christianity, and among them is Miami
history professor Edwin Yaumauchi.  In 1970, he helped found Oxford Bible
Fellowship, a nondenominational church for Miami students.
And:
Cincinnati 2012, the organization working to bring the 2012 Olympic Games
to Cincinnati, named more than 25 business and community leader Wednesday
who will prepare the city's bid to be named the U.S. Olympic candidate
city.  A list of the leaders and their committees includes the Legacy and
Culture committee for which Miami University President James Garland is one
of the co-chairs.

More than $1.6 million in state money was doled out to Miami University on
Monday, but not before legislators questioned the $3.4 million jump in
projected costs for the Hughes Hall renovation project.
