Being a Macintosh user carries more responsibility than being a
Windows/Intel user; to ensure our continued survival as a species, we must
take every opportunity to promote the Macintosh platform.
In light of this, I took an assessment of the public library in my town the
other day and noticed they do not have a single Macintosh among its more
than a dozen computers, three of which are used for Internet. As a result, I
am taking it upon myself to procure a Macintosh system to donate to the
library; surely, I cannot afford a G3; but I will be donating a Mac OS 8
platform nonetheless. I feel this is important, not only as a means of
providing "awareness" for the Macintosh, but also as a means of providing
access to the MacOS for those enlightened Mac users who surely must also
use the library.
I encourage anyone else to make this same assessment and contribute
accordingly. Remember, your donation is tax deductible. ~:-)
Forgive me if I am contributing inappropriately to this discussion list.
