Hello All,

I am in the process of writing an emergency action plan for our areas of
public assembly. Specifically, i am working on the arena where we hold our
basketball games and concerts etc..

I am looking to see how other institutions handle some of the following:

Fire alarm activation - during the event

Evactuation of the area - during an event.

Severe weather alerts and tornado warnings.

If any one is willing to share their emergency operations plan, and or
their thoughts, I would greatly appreciate it.

My mailing address & fax is located below. I have a good idea on how to
suggest we handle most of these emergencies, it is nice to see what other
colleges and universities are doing. In addition it also helps me to
compare our policy with others, only because i usually forget to add
something important *grin*

Lastly, if and when we get our web-page up and running we may be able to
store this information online, so that as you folks work on policy and
procedure issues you can view what other institutions are doing.

I wish you all a good day and thanks in advance for your assistance.

-Randy-
