Pat Hayes and I conducted the monthly Kelley's Island census yesterday. Weather was excellent with winds out of the west - southwest and temperature in the 50's. 64 species observed on the census and 3 species (*) observed on the island but not during the census. This is the highest October species count in 9 years.
