Hi All,

In addition to the birds mentioned in Ethan's message regarding the Killdeer Plains trip, we should also mention that we had two Dunlin that made an appearance, several Red-shouldered hawks, several Red-headed Woodpeckers, two Common Loons, Bonaparte's Gulls, and quite a few Bald Eagles of varying age ranges.

We had about 36 people in total on the trip, including Pete Dunne, Jerome Jackson, and Chris Wood. We also had a special presentation by Mona Rutgers and her talented team from Back To The Wild.

It was a great day of birding!

Thanks,

	Hi All,

I joined the Audubon Assembly on their trip to Killdeer Plains Wildlife Area today. The main highlight was 10 stunning Black Scoters on the Upground Reservoir. We also had at least 12 species of waterfowl, 25+ Lapland Longspurs, and a Chukar.
