Hi Mr. Slater, I was not attacking you, in fact, I agree with your very concern. I too would like more info to locate sighted birds. That is the very reason for this list, or so I thought. My post was not one of attack, but more of frustration for all of the yada yada that seems like it should be discussed somewhere else. But, in the end, it is only my opinion, and perhaps I did not represent that properly. I think your opinion is quite valid, and I support it. It would be a shame to lose your passion here on my account. I apologize. To address the issue; Perhaps a database of "hotspots" can be made with links to websites with maps and/or directions. Electronically speaking, it's not that difficult to do. Perhaps the OOS could host this or provide links, etc. to it's members. Another thought would be to have all sightings posts be posted through a form that required the location info to be posted before it would be electronically accepted. My $0.02.
