Hello all, Today I came home from work to find a sparrow picking through the seeds I put out this morning that I haven't seen in my yard before. I think it was a fox sparrow. It was much larger than the white-throated sparrow also picking through the snow. It had a lot of gray with much reddish brown color and a very streaked breast with white under parts. I live in Lorain County and was wondering if this would be rare to see here at this time of year. I posted a photo at rarebird in their northeast Ohio forum if anyone would like to see or can confirm my ID. The photo is not very good but the best I could get. Thanks, Matt Vosniak ______________________________________________________________________ Ohio-birds mailing list, a service of the Ohio Ornithological Society.
