Hey all - There was a beautiful first-year NORTHERN SHRIKE at Jaite marsh this morning. It was hunting low over the marsh, perching in short bushes and trees. Never have I seen one staying so low to the ground. The fine breast streaks and buff on the underparts were apparent at close range. There were also a few Swamp Sparrows present. Park at the yellow buildings at where Riverview and Vaughn intersect and walk north on the railroad tracks. Good birding - Gabe Leidy Hinckley ____________________________________________________________________________________ We won't tell. Get more on shows you hate to love (and love to hate): Yahoo!
