Saturday was beautiful (blue skies, temperatures in the low 30s), so I took a little walk through a neighborhood metropark between 11 am - 2:30 pm. I saw: Northern cardinal Tufted titmouse White-throated sparrow American crow Carolina chickadee (including one that was singing) American goldfinch Song sparrow Red-bellied woodpecker Hairy woodpecker (I stopped counting after the 10th--there were a lot) White-breasted nuthatch Mallard Belted Kingfisher Great blue heron American robin Carolina wren It was not a terribly memorable day out, but I have never had a bad day spent birding. ______________________________________________________________________ Ohio-birds mailing list, a service of the Ohio Ornithological Society.
