While at a birdwatcher's meeting this morning the subject of birds eating
(drinking) snow when there was no water available came up. The person who
brought it up insisted that eating (drinking) snow was bad for the birds.
The group tried to get me to comment: I couldn't because I don't have clue.

How about some wisdom??
