Tried to get out as much as possible this weekend to submit the most diverse survey of local birds. The Kokosing River right now has a decent diversity of waterfowl. (good observation point is the Amvets and the parking lot of Creno's Pizza) Black Duck Mallard Canada Geese Redhead L. Scaup Bufflehead Pied-billed Grebe B. Kingfisher G.B. Heron Gadwall Goldeneye Brown Environmetal Center E. Bluebird (one with bling aka a leg band) A. Tree Sparrow A. Robin W.T. Sparrow Savannah Sparrow then the usual suspects Sycamore Rd., Owl Creek Church, Arrington Rd. South of Mt Vernon off 586 Horned Lark Red-winged Blackbirds Rusty Blackbirds Mallard Pintail (1 drake) Wilson's Snipe R.T. Hawk A.
