Just had a Turkey Vulture soaring low over the Olentangy River at Henderson
Road in Columbus this afternoon. First one I've seen since winter actually
got serious.

Subject: [Ohio-birds] Turkey Vultures

With the recent discussion about the re-appearance of turkey vultures in
mind, I kept my eye out this morning on a trip up US 23 from Portsmouth to
Columbus. I saw 2 the entire way (less than I had expected): 1 just north
of the 23/35 split in Chillicothe, and the other one about a mile past the
23/22 interchange in Circleville. I did see one in Columbus yesterday
around 1 PM at the 71/Hudson Street interchange as I was getting gas.
