Hello, all... The LONG-TAILED DUCK reported by Su Snyder was still present, giving amazing looks, though diving very actively, this afternoon (3/20). It is located along Willow Road, accessed via 226, just south of Wooster (DeLorme 50, C 2-3). At Funk, there were thousands of waterfowl, including 110 +/- Tundra Swans, 100 or so Canvasback, hundreds of Ruddy Duck, and Wigeon. Despite sifting through at least 100 wigeon, I came up with no Eurasians. There were some Redhead among them that provided a skipped heart-beat, but alas, none. Keep your eyes open...waterfowl migration is at peak! Remember the Shreve Migration Sensation, if you're in the Wooster area on 3/24.
