Hey all,

Went with a group from the Cleveland Museum of Natural History out to Pymatuning for a little while today. I was with a seperate highschool group and we didnt have too much time to bird around there. We basically just birded along the causway that goes across the lake. There were 2 open spots, one on the Ohio side and one on the Pennsylvania side. The Ohio opening had mostly Ring-billed Gulls, a few Common Goldeneye, Common Mergansers, Hooded Merganser and a Bald Eagle. The Pennsylvania one had Red-breasted and Common Mergansers, lots of Common Goldeneye, Canada Geese, Tundra Swans. Also 2 Coots a few Shovelers and the Red-necked Grebe. The grebe was in fairly close. It was also visible from both Pennsylvania and Ohio which was nice. It is nice spring is on its way.

  Good Birding,

  Phil Chaon
