It was perfect weather for raptors today. I witnessed many courting pairs of Red Tail Hawks and I saw similar behavior from the Northern Harriers. I also witnessed a female Harrier and a Roughie make many harassing passes over (and through) flocks of Canadas and Mallards. Neither made any real attempt to grab any prey. I believe they were either looking to separate a weak bird or they were just messing with them. Here are the totals from my adventure.
