I had a new addition to the yard list. 9 Rusty Blackbirds were working the woods around the yard then flew into a large maple tree in the yard. It was interesting to note how big a sound they could make as they called from the tree. Their somewhat raucous calls were interspersed with the more melodic note chimed in by the many White Throated Sparrows out in the woods. A bonus bird, a Whip Poor Will also added to the evenings repertoire some 20 minutes ago. See you on the trails, Chris Pierce N.
