Greetings---before the Arctic blast arrived, the first singing field sparrows appeared in Coitsville Twp. Also greater yellowlegs, W. snipe, sharp-shinned hawk, and Am. kestrel there this week. Here in my Poland Twp. yard, wild turkey, red-shouldered hawk, pileated woodpecker, golden-crowned kinglet, e. towhee and juncos were seen the last few days.
