Saw no new migrants, but I saw an increase in numbers of the ones already seen, and heard lots of singing! I saw three bright male Yellow-rumped Warblers in various locations. A dog was chasing everything it could see around the bridge area. When the owner appeared I told her dogs were not allowed to run free (I hope that's true!?). She and the dog drove off. About an hour later I saw a deer bounding across the grounds in full sunlight. At first I was delighted until I realized it was being chased by that same dog. I never saw the woman again. Another birder said he has lately seen several cars regularly park at the entrance to the bridge, where the owners then let their dogs run free. If anyone knows how to stop this practice I hope they will do so. __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Tired of spam? Yahoo!
